Days become fuller, nights shorter, hearts wider.
As I am about to embark on this wild journey myself, I feel the pull to focus on this topic in my work. For my 2027 calendar, launching in autumn 2026, I am dedicating the year to young families. Twelve portraits of couples with their baby or young children. Twelve quiet celebrations of this tender, transformative chapter.
For the first time, you are invited to be part of it.
I am opening 8 portrait commissions that will complete the series. Each selected family will be featured as one of the twelve illustrations in my 2027 calendar.
The birth of a child often marks the beginning of a new story. A portrait is a way to pause and hold on to this fleeting season. It can be something you gift to yourselves, or something offered to new parents by those who love them.
All portraits are created in my signature monochrome blue style, drawn in my studio in Sweden.
